Oldbury Cenotaph

The pylon rises from a five-stepped base, rectangular on plan, and at the top dies back to the foot of the empty tomb. The tomb is in the form of a tapered Classical chest, ornamented with hemispherical bosses.

The Commuter

The sculpture depicts a male figure, dressed in a bowler hat and a 3-piece suit and carrying an umbrella and suitcase. Painted in a metallic silver colour. The sculpture was commissioned as part of the refurbishment programme for Snow Hill Station.
