About This Experience
沙淦，字宝琛，号愤愤。1885年生于通州兴仁镇李观音堂，12岁考入通州第一高等小学就读，13岁剪去发辫，以示对清廷的不满。沙淦中学毕业后，得知孙中山先生在日本从事革命活动，便于1905年东渡日本，考入成城警监学校。在日期间，参加中国同盟会筹备会议，加入了孙中山组织的同盟会，是同盟会早期成员之一。1911年沙淦回国投身报界，大力宣传革命。在南京从事革命活动时，不幸泄密，险遭逮捕，他化装成渔人渡江，得以脱险。后又去上海从事革命活动，任国民党上海分部秘书长。又以江北招讨副使的名义，游说江北军队起义。辛亥革命武昌
