Step inside the Davenport House Museum, the home that launched Savannah’s preservation movement, and explore one of the city’s most significant historic sites. Visitors move through beautifully restored Federal-style rooms while learning about the Davenport family, the architecture of the home, and the broader urban landscape of a growing port city. Tours also share the experiences of the enslaved individuals who lived and labored on the property, using archaeological findings and archival records to present a fuller, more comprehensive story of the site. - Guided tours last about 70 minutes and are limited to 15 participants for an intimate experience. - Self-guided tours available only on Saturdays, with flexible entry times from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. - Tours begin in the Historic Kennedy Pharmacy with nearby parking options. - Admission discounts available for students, seniors, and military members.
