About This Experience
獸魂碑建於1938年（日治昭和13年）原為嘉義市第二代屠宰場（舊豬灶）撫慰牲畜亡魂所立之的動物慰靈碑，石碑正面由臺南州知事川村直岡題字「獸魂碑」。戰後屠宰場遷走後由地方居民自發維護、擺設香案，在地常民習稱「獸魂公」或「獸魂媽」。
